Church Health Metrics

The purpose of the church health metrics is twofold.

  • The first is to enable the council with the trend of what is going on and to support decisions in utilizing resources.
  • The second is for congregation members to gain insight into the church operations and see where they or the congregation as a whole take part in the health of St. Paul’s.

Connecting with Jesus
This is the bringing of others to Jesus through visitors and other non-members to church services.  The Welcome Home contact cards that Pastors receive for follow up often result in new members or entire families joining our church.

Connecting with Each Other

It is important that the congregational share in the fellowship of worship and the teaching of the gospel.  The metrics shown include attendance and Christian education by quarter.  The blue dots are for high attendance on holiday days or special events.

Connecting with Southern Maryland

As part of our outreach to spreading the gospel in the surrounding area, we use various social media contacts and events that provide opportunities to expose the non-churched to Christ.   We are also involved in local charities and ministries.

Financial Enablers

Keeping the church financially healthy enables the outward focus on the mission for Christ.

Constitution

The purpose of this page is to provide resources on church business operations.  This includes the church constitution, recent congregational voter meeting minutes, and church health metrics.
